“A truly tremendous rural location that’s stylish but not pretentious” – this gorgeous mock-Tudor timber building was originally built in France in 1878, and sits now in a leafy deer park on the Woburn Estate. Phil Fanning has been in the kitchen here since 2010 and owned the place since 2014, and produces “a totally wonderful dining experience”. Choose between a four-course meal for £80 per person or a six-course option at £121 per person – “imaginative, flavoursome dishes served with efficiency and courtesy that always create a special experience”.
