“Nothing could be better than sitting on the quayside in Tobermory in the sunshine, feasting on their hot seafood platter with butter dribbling down your chin”; “everything is cooked à point, and it’s hard not asking for seconds of their malty soda bread”. Stop Press – in August 2018 it went on the market; hopefully the new owners won’t mess with the winning formula.
“This is seafood heaven” – a “wonderful, vibrant café” set “in the old ferry terminal building”, on the edge of the harbour, where the “excellent fish meals” are “all landed just beyond the window”. “Worth every hour of the journey to get there via sleeper and ferry!”
“Brilliant, fresh seafood” is the hallmark of this “small, very busy, noisy, but great” venue on the harbour; “try to get a table with a view of the sea” (but you'll “need to book well in advance”).
“You couldn’t get fresher than the stunningly good seafood” of this relaxed café-style venue on the harbour, where the main event is typically “caught just a couple of hours before, and then very well cooked”.
