“Perfection on a plate” – Stephen and Bethan Stevens’s converted old butchers shop on the Isle of Anglesey has won culinary fame (including from the Tyre Men) for its menus created based on availability on any given day: “a fantastic ‘surprise’ using ingredients married together that you wouldn’t always expect but work perfectly. Steve and Bethan work wonderfully together – one of the highlights is to see Steve putting together the dishes on the pass”.
“You don’t know what you are going to get” at this “small” but stylish venue in an old butcher’s, but the leap of faith is “well worth it” given the “really special” results: “every dish is perfectly prepared and follows on extremely well from the one before”. By all accounts “they have deserved their recently awarded Michelin star”.
