Harden's says
In March 2019, and initially branded "St Martin's Lane Kitchen", this is the space that for many years was for many years the über-hip Asia de Cuba (RIP). As of 2021, the restaurant is trading without a stand-alone identity as part of the hotel.

Summary
Spring 2019 temporary replacement for the once-achingly-hip Asia de Cuba (RIP) – the main dining room at one of London’s early-wave, boutique hotels (which was opened in 1999 by NYC-supremo Ian Schrager in partnership with designer Philippe Starck). Initial feedback suggests its new Pan-Asian offering is “more neutral” than its previous wacky sharing-plate menu, but that, while it’s “lost some of its appeal”, it can still be a useful option in the area. A full-time successor is mooted, but no timetable has been announced thus far.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
