Harden's says
Partnering with MJMK Restaurants, ex-Maos chef-patron Nuno Mendes returned to the London restaurant scene in Spring 2022. Set over three floors, the restaurant aims to embody "the very spirit of Lisbon, in an informal yet informative dining space".
Harden's survey result
Summary
“Nuno Mendes, London’s most creative and friendly chef is back!” – partnering with MJMK Restaurants (who run Casa do Frango and Kol) – at this three-floor Fitzrovian in the thick of Charlotte Street, which “is set up for quick counter dining on the ground floor or longer meals upstairs”. As usual, “his take on Portuguese food is outstanding”, delivering “distinctive and gutsy flavours” with “flair”. “The bill soon adds up”, though, to the extent that one or two reporters find it “expensive and hyped”. But the main complaint? – “the upstairs room can be painfully noisy”. Top Menu Tip – ‘abade de priscos’ – the ’signature’ custard pie pudding incorporating bacon.
For 32 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Lisboeta Restaurant Diner Reviews

"Some great dishes with unusual (at least for me) combinations. The cuttlefish with pig’s trotter sauce a standout. "

"We’ll executed interesting Portuguese food. I especially liked the scallops with black pudding. The monkfish was good too but a bit salty. Rather noisy "

"Buzzy and busy restaurant. Portions were small and whilst tasted okay, were not particularly memorable. "

"Quality of the food, wine list and service is fantastic. There are seasonal adjustments to keep matters interesting on repeat visits. Countertop dining downstairs is a fun experience, with a view of the kitchen and the engaging bar staff. It's a treat to have Nuno Mendes back in London."
