“Lovely food” – including “wonderful sushi” – and “efficient service” have made this tiny Japanese near Little Venice extremely popular – deservedly so, for cuisine of this freshness at very reasonable prices. Set meals represent the best value, and the “well-presented bento boxes were a top delivery experience during lockdown”.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Not quite adjusted to having extended into the old “Windsor Castle” next door, so service has suffered somewhat. Sushi remain excellent, hot food good but not in the same league. Poor selection of Sake for such a good restaurant"

"Very fresh and carefully presented sashimi, tempura prawns a little heavy on the batter. Service & ambience difficult to judge as I was the only diner. Well worth seeking out."
