“Smart and reliable bistro” (with a cosy, little gin bar) near Turnham Green tube that offers “a menu of crowd-pleasers, cooked with care and a little flair”. Part of the Ealing-based Charlotte’s Place group, it is “far better than expected from a neighbourhood warhorse”.
“An excellent cocktail bar” with “a lovely gin selection” helps set a “friendly and homely” tone at the W4 Charlotte’s – a “buzzy bistro and bar” near Turnham Green Tube, whose “tasty” fare suits an “informal” get-together. In W5, in Ealing’s new Dickens Yard development, its younger sibling is also “a good local venue” popular with business-lunchers and families at weekends. (Both are spin-offs from Charlotte’s Place, also in W5 – see also).
“For excellent casual dining” this “cosy” (tightly packed) Chiswick haunt hits the spot, boosted by a cute bar by the entrance; value-wise, “you get what you’ve paid for and more”. No feedback on its laid-back W5 sibling, but see also Charlotte’s Place W5.
