“You can always find something delicious to enjoy” at Alex Wrethman’s “pleasantly quiet” long-established (1984) fixture by Ealing Common – acclaimed by its local fanclub as “the best restaurant in Ealing by a long way” (although dishes which are “amazing and creative” to some tastes are a little “complicated” to others).
Fans of this “favourite local” say it’s “the best in Ealing by far” – a “lovely place” where “high-quality produce and cooking” are complemented by “attentive, friendly service”. See also its spin-offs Charlotte’s in W4 and W5.
“It’s great to have quality cooking in W5!” – this “homely” neighbourhood favourite, on the Common, delivers “well-presented, seasonal food” in a “warm and friendly manner”.
“Unexpectedly good for Ealing” – this “homely” bistro, on the Common, pleases all who comment on it with its “simple but flavoursome” food; service is notably “friendly and knowledgeable” too.
Charlotte’s Place Restaurant Diner Reviews
"This remains the best local restaurant by a very long way. The welcome and service are always top notch. The food is presented imaginatively and always has tremendous flavours."
"A classy French meal out in the suburbs. Small dining room (best to book), friendly service from what seemed like a small but competent team."
"The food and service in this restaurant never fails to impress, and is definitely the best in the area. Menu is imaginative and food always presented well. It is a shame that the dining room has such hard surfaces meaning that speech echoes round the room and one becomes very conscious of the noise."
