Malcolm John’s “reliable local brasserie” by Acton Green feels like it’s been airlifted from provincial France, and, at its best, its traditional Gallic fare can really hit the heights. Top Tip – “good value lunch”.
Malcolm John’s authentically Gallic bistro beside Acton Green has become a well-known local fixture thanks to its “reliable” traditional French cuisine. Top Tip – particularly “good-value deals at lunchtime”.
Malcolm John’s “off-the-beaten-track” Gallic classic by Acton Green, is known for its “delicious” bistro fare and “intimate” ambience; its ratings suffered this year though, with quite a number of reports of the “perhaps-they-were-having-a-bad-day” variety.
“All the French classics” are realised to a “perfectly sound” standard at Malcolm John’s “professional but laid-back” bistro, opposite Acton Green; it has the knack of “making a series of small surprises into a very satisfactory all-round experience”.
