“Consistently good food” and a “lovely French atmosphere” earn solid ratings for this long-running bistro – an unusually “authentic Gallic experience” by Acton Green. It’s “excellent value”, too, “if you choose carefully”.

“You’d think you were in a modern version of a Belle Epoque Parisian bistro” at this “classic French” outfit by Acton Green. “It specialises in delicious dishes made with Vacherin cheese – but there’s much more to choose from”. After 15 years, a major refurb is planned for early 2019.

Malcolm John’s “reliable local brasserie” by Acton Green feels like it’s been airlifted from provincial France, and, at its best, its traditional Gallic fare can really hit the heights. Top Tip – “good value lunch”.

Malcolm John’s authentically Gallic bistro beside Acton Green has become a well-known local fixture thanks to its “reliable” traditional French cuisine. Top Tip – particularly “good-value deals at lunchtime”.
