“Possibly the smallest restaurant I’ve ever been in but BIG on flavours and service” – this “wonderful” Japanese-inspired, 15-seater yearling in Mayfair’s pretty Shepherd Market is piloted by Kiwi chef Jeff Tyler (ex-Novikov), and specialises in luxury gyoza dumplings, stuffed with foie gras and wagyu beef. “It’s like being back in Tokyo”. Top Tip – “Book – it’s tiny”.
Limited but hugely positive initial feedback on (ex-Novikov) Kiwi chef, Jeff Tyler’s tiny (15-seater) newcomer in Mayfair’s picturesque Shepherd Market. “It’s a lovely and fun little operation, where service is by two charming young ladies who knew the food well.” On the menu: handmade, non-traditional gyoza and a range of colourful Asian-inspired salads and snacks, all of which are praised for being very well-crafted.
