Harden's says

Chef and restaurateur Phil Howard is bringing his lockdown pasta delivery service permanent in November 2022, with chef Louis Korovilas believed to be in charge of the kitchen - it was originally to be known as Otto (after Howard's lockdown pasta business), but lost a legal battle with "an unnamed “existing business with a similar name"

“It seems unlikely to find such good food at such a touristy location”, but “the lovely homemade pasta” at Phil Howard and Louis Korovilas’s bright and efficient new pasta spot is “a revelation”“very tasty Italian small plates at astonishingly reasonable prices for Piccadilly”, from a “focused menu of pastas and dessert”. (It was originally to be known as Otto – after Howard’s lockdown pasta business – but lost a legal battle with ‘an unnamed existing venture with a similar name’). BREAKING NEWS. In October 2023, a second 90-cover branch was announced to open in November 2023 in Covent Garden’s Henrietta Street.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Everything arrives at once. Not keen on that especially as the focaccia arrived last, when we were expecting it first. That said pasta is truly great, al dente and flavoursome. Strangely service disappeared after that. No offer of more drinks. Hence we gave dessert a miss which we would have had if asked earlier. Still it saved us a decent amount of wedge of what is not a cheap bill. "
