Small Lebanese café lost in the backstreets immediately behind Olympia. Known mainly to a faithful local crowd since the days of its redoubtable but endearingly chaotic former owner, “it maintains the standards set by Marcelle: the big difference is in the improved reliability of the service!”
“High quality, reliable Lebanese food” makes it worth truffling out this “cheap ’n’ cheerful” backstreet café behind Olympia (that some still remember as Chez Marcelle… she’s retired.)
“Tabbouleh as good as I’ve ever tasted” typifies the “wonderfully tasty and fresh” Lebanese cuisine at this backstreet café – “not to be missed” if you’re near Olympia. It made its reputation as Chez Marcelle (she retired a couple of years ago), and is still “well up to snuff”.
Previously known as Chez Marcelle (till she retired), this “little gem” in the backstreets behind Olympia may be only “modest and functional”, but “remains an excellent source of authentic Lebanese food”.
