“Messy… but so tasty!” – the “best pizzas ever” win nothing but rave reviews for these “easygoing and fun” outlets (backed by the late Terry Wogan’s sons, Mark and Alan), which were out-scored only by the very narrowest margins by Pizza Pilgrims this year as London’s best. “If you like funky topping combos, this is the place for you”. NB: Ry Jessup, the Kiwi who originally founded the chain, moved on from the business after the survey closed in summer 2019, but we have maintained the rating.
“Huge tasty pizzas” with a “very thin crust and unusual toppings” have attracted a strong following for this stripped-down concept. (The group is owned by the late Terry Wogan’s sons and has a branch in his old stamping-ground, the BBC’s former home at White City.)
“Excellent, enormous pizzas with a decent variety of toppings” wins a major fanbase for these buzzy and cheery pit stops. “It’s quick and dirty with paper plates and plastic cutlery – lingering is not encouraged”. (Fascinating fact: it’s owned by the late Terry Wogan’s sons!)
“Outstanding pizza” – “unusual flavours but working together really well and with a wonderful, thin dough base” – win acclaim for these “buzzy and cheery” pitstops; “have a huge pizza or just a slice” but be prepared to wait.
