For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
“The menu knocks your socks off!” – “Peter Gordon continues to excel”, at the renowned Kiwi chef’s Pacific fusion venue in Marylebone; still serving “beautiful, inventive and original dishes” well into its second decade, with marks for its food riding higher than ever. “The tables are too close together and it’s pricey, but I keep going back...”
“Peter Gordon’s genius still works its magic” at his long-established pan-Pacific HQ. The upstairs room is “small, crowded, dark and noisy”, but the “fusion dishes are wondrous – simple tastes combine to make something unique and totally delicious”. “Great and interesting breakfast” too.
“Still exciting!” – even after 15 years, support for Peter Gordon’s “imaginative” Pan-Pacific Marylebone tapas bar is very solid – if you’re prepared to be “squashed” into the “crowded” dining room, results can still “surprise”.
Peter Gordon’s “really interesting” Pacific-fusion tapas have helped this “bustling” Marylebone bar-diner make quite a name, especially for a “diverse and innovative brunch”; its “cramped” premises “rapidly gets too busy”, though, and the food no longer seem as special as once it did.
