Summary

“Unpretentious but brilliant” Keralan veteran near the Telecom Tower, which offers some of the “best-value curry in London”. It’s “still rough as anything in terms of the building but the food consistently nails it” – including some “proper veggie choices”. Top Tip – “the dosas at Ragam are the best I’ve found in London”.

Summary

“Year after year Ragam churns out delicious south Indian food, with lots of excellent vegetarian options” (“perfect dosas”) – “it’s not fancy but it’s full of flavour and never fails!”. The ambience at this basement near the Telecom Tower “doesn’t get much better (despite two refurbs!), but the service is friendly” and everything comes “at a very reasonable price”.

Summary

“Spectacularly good South Indian meals” at a “wonderfully cheap” price won renewed acclaim this year for this grungy Keralan stalwart, near the Telecom Tower. Especially since its recent makeover it can seem even more “drab and harshly-lit”, but on all accounts it’s still “a tremendous recommendation”.

Summary

“Though not the greatest looker” (and that’s after the refurb!) this stalwart Indian near the Telecom Tower remains “first choice for genuine Keralan food” for many reporters, with “the crowning glory being when the bill arrives – £20 a head for grub this good should be impossible!” But its ratings were hit by some unusually downbeat reports this year, saying it was “notably not as good”“OK but no longer outstanding or destinational”.
