“Innovative and delicious” Peruvian-inspired fusion dishes combined with cocktails based on pisco and mezcal to create a buzz at this Marylebone three-year-old.
“Peruvian fusion without the high prices” is to be found at this Marylebone two-year-old, which delivers “brilliant tapas and good Pisco cocktails” in a “fun and buzzy” – but “too noisy” – setting. Service “doesn’t quite live up to the rest (lack of training, I suspect)”.
“Intriguing sharing plates inspired by Peru”, all “washed down with good Pisco cocktails” win a big thumbs-up for this Marylebone yearling; on the downside, its basement setting is “soulless”, and “the acoustics are terrible”.
Pachamama Restaurant Diner Reviews
"An interesting menu with plenty of variety. The service was friendly and attentive. The entrance belies the size of the restaurant! "
"Lively Peruvian restaurant. The fish was some of the freshest that we had eaten in a Peruvian restaurant - the ceviche was to die for. We both like a busy and buzzing restaurant however, unfortunately, the restaurant was extremely noisy and as a table of two we could barely hear one another above the din. We also felt that the restaurant was expensive for what it was, with the price of vegetarian dishes verging on the outrageous (e.g. charred broccoli for £9). All in all, a good meal but we have had better elsewhere."
