“Fresh, vibrant food” – full of “interesting, sharp flavours” – makes this “relaxed” Fitzrovia joint and its Covent Garden offspring (“Floral by Lima”) “great places to try out Peruvian cuisine”. There’s a “diverse range of dishes”, from “excellent ceviches to hot main courses”, although “portion sizes don’t really match the cost”.

“Imaginative and different” dishes, “beautifully presented” (not to mention “highly recommended pisco sours”) have produced a big culinary reputation for this Peruvian duo in Fitzrovia and Covent Garden (“Floral by Lima”) and “not just for the novelty factor”. On the downside, they can seem “too expensive”.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

The very inexpensive set lunch menu offered...
Reviewed 8 months, 25 days ago

"The very inexpensive set lunch menu offered a fish or vegetarian starter followed by a fish or vegetarian main course. That was a little disappointing as the online version had a lamb main course. The starter was sea bream ceviche. It was beautifully presented and both interesting and enjoyable to eat. The main course of stonebass was less interesting and surprisingly small. Overall the two courses amounted to a substantial snack rather than a meal. Decor is simple, or, to put it anpother way, ordinary."
