This “modern Korean” basement off Carnaby Street does a great line in “delicious but different food” served in “cool surroundings”: it “delivers on the staples – fried chicken, dumplings, etc – while more unusual modern interpretations also hit the target”, such as “terrific tofu sliders”. In June 2019, Korean-American TV chef Judy Joo severed her ties with the venture, but we’ve maintained the rating for the time being.

Korean-American TV chef Judy Joo “puts a fun – and delicious – twist on Korean food” at her “hidden gem” – a “lively and noisy” basement off Carnaby Street. Attractions include some of “the best Korean fried chicken in town and the rest of the food is damn good too”, but some feel that it’s “way too small to have a DJ” – you’ve been warned!

Fom Korean-American TV chef Judy Joo, this “buzzy” Korean bar (with DJ some nights) and basement restaurant off Regent Street, “instantly wipes away the cares of a busy work week”. “Great Korean fried chicken and prawn lollipops” are the standout items on a menu which is “that little bit different”.
