“The food is so different!”“very unusual combos that you don’t think are going to work, but which they pull off” – at former MasterChef winner Tim Anderson’s “thoroughly interesting Japanese-soul-food-fusion” venue beside Brixton market. “Staff are great and really work hard too, but there can be delays in getting attention”.

“Terrific Brixton fusion place from former MasterChef winner Tim Anderson”, whose “Japanese soul food” (“blending flavours from Japan with more local staples”) wins “extra points for originality”“so unlikely this: spectacularly good Japanese carbonara of spaghetti!” “I was sceptical, but what a bangin’ place!”

"A loyal fan of this place since opening but this sizzling pan stir-fry was a car crash - shouldn't have been suggested or served - boring."
