“Classy, with a nice grown-up atmosphere” – this ‘traditional countryside pub and dining room in southwest London’ (the first from the Lunar Pub Company) opened in late 2019, and is successfully living up to its ‘rus-in-urbe’ aspirations. There are lots of warm vibes for its well-realised food and cosy style (even if the prices are those of SW3, not the shires). They are already onto their second project (opening in late 2021) – The Ganymede in SW1 (see also).

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"From the same stable as the excellent Ganymede, but more of a gastropub than a restaurant: promise in the cooking one quiet lunchtime. The group plans a third venue in Battersea: worth watching."

"I went to Hunter's moon for the first time last week. The service was attentive and pleasant, the back room slightly noisy ( hard flooring) a little later but otherwise very comfortable. I had two starters which were both excellent and for me the Ceviche was superp and the ravioli was also very good. I preferred the starters than the mains on the menu but there was also several specials to choose from."
