Harden's survey result
“Perfect for a business lunch… and not just for politicians” – this resurrected traditional dining room is a well-known politico troughing spot, with well-spaced tables and old-school decor. One or two reporters feel “it’s not up to the mark of previous years”, but typically feedback is full of praise for its “charming staff” and “wonderful British dishes at reasonable prices”.
This traditional British stalwart – resurrected a couple of years ago after a period of closure – is something of a “Westminster favourite”, on account of its “well spaced tables, calm atmosphere and good comfort food”, all of which make it “ideal for a business lunch” (particularly of a politico nature).
For 30 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
