A “local gem” a short walk from Victoria station – this “professional and unpretentious” Ottoman-themed outfit (with a smaller offshoot opposite) “sets out to provide well-cooked Turkish food to its neighbourhood, and does it very well”. “A real unexpected pleasure – quality ingredients, treated simply and with the lightest of touches”.
“A long-standing, beautifully run Pimlico gem” – this Turkish café (and its offshoot across the road) provides “reliably good value” at a “handy address close to Victoria station”. “Comfortable, with always cheerful service… it’s popular for good reason”.
This “totally reliable neighbourhood Turk never misses a beat” – it’s “always crowded” and “rightly so” thanks to its “friendly” style and “delicious” food. “Its younger sibling opposite offers a super selection of mezze” and both are “very good quality, considering the prices”.
“Deservedly successful”, “very busy” Pimlico duo, with restaurant and café spin-off on the same street; their looks are “quite ordinary”, but service is “accommodating”, and there’s high praise for the “sparkling fresh” salads and mezze and other well-prepared Turkish fare.
