After leaving The Royal Oak in Marylebone in 2019 (in a high-profile case involving accusations of sexual misconduct), Dan Doherty has quietly opened this spot in Deptford. Tila is open all day (with some evenings), serving "breakfast, lunch, dinner and epic Sunday roasts".

Tila Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Some of the best food I've eaten in London in 10 years of living here. I'm a big meat fan, and my wife is veggie, but both tastes are well catered for here. Since discovering the place 2 weeks ago we've been in for breakfast, lunch and dinner and have been very happy each time with the food offering, the service (especially how kind they have been to our toddler) and the style of the place. The open kitchen is a nice touch, especially as they cook over an open fire - my two year old daughter is enthralled by this, and the bar has a solid range of beers, wines and spirits. It could hold its own anywhere in London but it stands out especially in the area compared to the competition."
