"Enjoyed our visit to Llewelyn's today - good fried prawn starter with a tasty spicy mayonnaise but a bit rich at £17, two venison main's were a little chewy and didn't have a huge flavour. We eat venison at xmas each year and so appreciate how good it can taste and were a little disappointed by this. Chocolate and cherries dessert pretty good. Wines were reasonably priced and enjoyable but we left a little deflated and the bill was higher than anticipated. Given it was a Friday lunch they had no set menu option or other way of managing the cost so this could easily end being very expensive if you were more adventurous on the wine front. Stylish though and the servers were very friendly and professional."
