Harden's says
Named after the 19th-century Anglo-Italian inventor of the railway signalling system, this modern 'live flour lab' specialises in fresh pasta created in an open kitchen, plus Italian pastries. Opened in June 2022.

Summary
“A great little find right opposite King’s Cross”. “The location is not the best” – immediately off a busy pavement and bordering the trafficky Euston Road – but, if you want a good-value refuel before you hop on a train (especially with family in tow), this bright pitstop at the foot of a boutique hotel is trying hard: “service is good and they obviously care”. Pasta (the main event) is made in-house: if it lacks anything in terms of finesse, it compensates with ample portions and “the food is very nice”. In case you’ve been wondering, the place is named after the 19th-century Anglo-Italian inventor of the railway signalling system.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

Spagnoletti Restaurant Diner Reviews
" Yesterday we had an early dinner at this place upon you "bigging it up" in a recent email. On that evidence I cannot understand how you can recommend it at all. Starters were uneven. with the Fave e Cicoria containing no chicory at all. Instead we were presented with an indigestible stringy vegetable on a small puree. Nasty! And the pasta, by which a place like this stands or falls, was ordinary. It was ok but nothing more. Not al dente as it would have been in Italy and no better than at Pasta Remoli in Stratford station. Or La Tua Pasta at Borough Market. Ordinary in fact. You cant get any other main dish here so whether this place qualifies as a restaurant at all rather than a cafe or glorified stall is moot. The studied attention to coolness of the decor is obvious, old hat and for my taste rather silly. Tables are too small and we had to ask for salt and pepper grinders to be removed. Service is competent but upon us responding to the question" Everything ok?" after starters that we couldn't eat the veg, we got no response and a rather cold follow ups. Clearly we hadn't read the script £ 100 for this? We wont be back regards Neville Filar "
"A small menu which is reasonably priced. Interesting Italian dishes. It is hard to see how this can last with this offering. A well designed and fitted restaurant."
