“Decent food but seriously cramped!” – that’s long been the trade-off at this tiny, barely decorated caff, by Islington Green, whose small selection of interesting curries makes it a “great local”.
“Still there, still serving excellent food” – this “cheap ’n’ cheerful”, Islington canteen has seen many of its neighbours come and go. The secret of its success? – a very affordable limited selection of yummy curries. “Easier for take-away than for sit-down as the place is tiny with slightly harassed staff”.
“A great little local standby” for a “quick bite” – this Afghan canteen by Islington Green scores well for consistency and value with its “small selection” of simple dishes. The only quibble is that “the menu is static” – “but you know what you’re getting every time”.
