With a flagship in Colombo – and a name meaning ‘Prawn’ in Sinhala – this Canary Wharf newcomer (open in June 2026) is the first international outpost of a ten-year-old Sri Lankan group called ‘Prawn Crazy’. The clue is in the translated name, with a menu featuring king prawns sourced from Sri Lanka and much traditional chilli flavouring. Seating 90, you start with mutton rolls, cuttlefish fritto or Isso wade (lentil patties with crisp prawns). Then it’s onto one of four types of prawn with the preparation of your choice, all washed down with Sri Lankan tea as well as beer and cocktails.
