Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"This Spitalfields stalwart continues to push out above-average Dongbei and Sichuan dishes after all these years, though the prices have increased over time from 'bargain' to 'not bad'. Huge portions, lots of chilli, the service though is slow and perfunctory and the restaurant itself purely functional. "
