Occupying the former site of Hoi Polloi (RIP), this large, mid-2022 newcomer is part of the recently relaunched One Hundred Shoreditch hotel. Complete with Raw Bar, the menu focus is on fish, although with choices for non-pescatarians. An active PR campaign succeeded in dragging in both The Sunday Times’s Marina O’Loughlin and The Guardian’s Grace Dent, both of whom delivered a mixed verdict (“pleasurable rather than jaw-dropping…”, “doing the very minimum it could to push out hundreds of covers a day, with few flourishes, scant innovation and often little flavour”).
