“The food is decent” (particularly the fish) and the “service friendly” at this driftwood-themed Thomas Heatherwick construction – “but what a location! The children can play outside on the beach while you wait for the grub to arrive, and then you can all stroll by the sea afterwards... just choose a sunny day!”.
“Simple but delicious food right on the beach” – the formula at this “family-friendly” spot, designed to resemble driftwood by Thomas Heatherwick; the “fish ’n’ chips are excellent, and even better eaten outside on a sunny day”.
“In a perfect seafront position” – this Thomas Heatherwick-designed cafe was modelled on a piece of driftwood; the “comfort-food”-style menu (not least fish) is generally “simple” and “well-cooked” – and, “even on a winter’s day, looking at grey gloom, it is a nice place to be”.
“Situated on the estuary at Littlehampton”, and with a “great view” of the English Channel, this “very buzzy” café – in a strikingly modern, driftwood-style building – provides a “limited menu” of “fresh and succulent” fish and seafood. Minor cavil? – the “acoustics need taming”.
