Harden's survey result
Will and Kelly Frankgate took over this village gastropub in 2013, and have since added a timber-framed garden room extension, which is one of the best of the numerous areas for dining and leads onto its outside dining area for the summer. Rated on more limited feedback this year.
A “friendly, easy atmosphere” adds to the charms of Will Frankgate’s 18th century village pub, which added an oak-framed garden room/patio two years back, and turns out “excellent” and “reasonably” priced grub including well-sourced local meat.
“An excellent range of food at low prices that’s all well presented and tasty” wins high praise for Will Frankgate’s cosy village pub – “a great favourite with walkers”.
The Blue Bell Glinton is an idyllic village pub dating back to the 18th century. The pub is run by Head Chef Will Frankgate and his wife Kelly and offers a cosy, old-world interior with decked out gnarled oak beams and crackly log fires.
Along with a main menu packed full with quality produce, we offer traditional Sunday lunches, light bites and dishes just for kids. Whether you choose to dine with us or are just looking for a nice relaxing drink, you'll receive the warmest of welcomes.
Will, Kelly and the team look forward to seeing you soon.
