“A friendly welcome” sets the tone for a visit to this husband-and-wife operation on the high street; “lovely, fresh, vibrant” fish and seafood is the star of the “tiny, changing menu” (“if it was in London at these prices I’d be there weekly!”).

Husband and wife team, Ken & Wendy provide “very good and varied food at this cramped and unpretentious restaurant” on the high street. “The quantities are larger than I need, but apparently locals demand it! – but the quality is there”.

The food at this casual, funky venture is “as well cooked and presented as many a Michelin restaurant” – and comes at “fair prices” too; it’s “difficult to get a booking as there are so few covers of an evening, but once you’ve snagged a table, you never feel rushed”.
