Now over a year old, this newish establishment, between Old Street and Barbican, operates on a site that’s seen other ventures come and go, and those who know the area say it’s “good to have someone operate something that’s working”: “a cut-above-the-average, local Italian” at “sensible prices”, including “excellent pizza”. Top Tip – “a truffle-based menu looked excellent as did the truffle that was brought out for my appreciation when I expressed an interest”.

For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
