By most, if not quite all, accounts a “lovely place to visit on the east side of the Goodwood Estate”, which was set up a few years back to purvey Lord March’s glamorous sporting venue’s organic, homegrown lamb, pork and “great butcher’s board beef”.
Setting speed and sport to one side, Lord March’s Goodwood Estate opened this new restaurant two years ago to showcase the organic Home Farm beef, lamb and pork. Visitors reckon it’s now a “great part of the Goodwood experience”, and former Marco Pierre White sideman Darron Bunn, the chef of the title, is winning solid ratings for his “well thought-out”, “sensibly creative” cooking. Though some reporters rate the service highly, others find it “willing but clearly inexperienced”.
