“A long-term favourite which has been going for decades” – in recent times now decamped to La Tasca’s old digs from its original home in The Rows – it boasts “plush and trendy” décor; “the moules marinières are wonderful and there are nights dedicated to surf and turf or lobster”.
“A must-go if in Chester” – a city stalwart still thriving after decamping from The Rows to the old La Tasca HQ a couple of years back; from the eponymous molluscs to the rotisserie fare it’s “gorgeous” and there’s a “great gin selection now too”.
After nearly two decades on the medieval Rows, this “always reliable” stalwart moved to a new address (the old La Tasca site) in summer 2016, but all “is much as previously”, from the eponymous molluscs to rotisserie fare and a “well-priced fixed lunch”.
After 17 years on the city’s medieval rows, this “reliable favourite” upped sticks to Cuppin Street, and the former site of La Tasca, in summer 2016; we’ve maintained its ratings, assuming continuity in its “gorgeous” cuisine – from steaks and rotisserie fare to the “divine” main event.
Moules A Go Go Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Attractive. Welcoming, relaxed and friendly staff. The menu is mussels-based but it offers much more than the standard moules-frites - though that's there if you want it. Big portions prevail. Grilled sea bass with plenty of garnish - and ubiquitous chips. The seafood linguine was mussels and prawns with lots of cubes of salmon in a good tomato sauce. (Probably too many salmon pieces.)"
