Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Great place to stay over, very good accommodation and with a good bar in really old atmospheric buildings. Food in restaurant is fine though needs some tasting to get it spot on. Sometimes a little too salty or could be improved slightly to move it from good enough to nearer exceptional."
