Opened in summer 2016, “this newish offshoot of the Northcote empire” – famed for the nearby country house hotel – “is a cafe adjoining the Cathedral buildings” just subject to a £30m development. The “bright, modern” daytime spot can seem “appealing” or “sterile”, but all agree on the “interesting, locally focussed menu” (overseen by Northcote’s Ambassador Nigel Haworth).

For 30 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.
