Sorry we're closed. A number of factors influenced these decisions. Starting with Brexit, construction of the HS2 station with limited access, the Covid-19 pandemic, inflation, raising electricity and gas prices, higher employee maintenance costs, and rising product prices, we are no longer able to maintain the restaurant. Harden's survey result
Lovers of kitsch should make a beeline to this well-established venue, not far from the Bull Ring, decorated like an old-fashioned Eastern European cottage – “highly recommended to anybody who would like to try Polish cuisine” or looking for a meal with “great character”.
10/10 for effort on the décor at this kitschy classic five minutes from the Bull Ring, but decorated like an old Pollish cottage. Too limited reports last year for a proper rating of the hearty east European scoff, but all feedback is positive.
For 33 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).
