Long hailed as a local beacon, an intimate hotel dining room, in a high street building that has served as both a boathouse and tearoom. “Subtle and efficient” service is matched with “quality food” (fish, speciality sourdoughs etc.) and they couldn’t be more “accommodating”.
This hotel dining room, occupying a former boathouse set back from the main street, has built up a loyal local following for its “dependable food” – grilled fish, steaks, risotto and so on – and “reasonable prices” (especially the bargain set menu).
With its “brilliant” desserts and decent mains (especially meat), this pared-back hotel dining room “improves the high street”; even those who feel it’s “solid” but “not inspirational” admit that it’s “the best local restaurant” nonetheless.
Welcome to Savoro, an elegant neighbourhood restaurant with rooms in the heart of Barnet. Contemporary design, imaginative cooking and great quality products makes Savoro the perfect venue for an unforgettable dining experience.
Ideally located just off the high street, Savoro stands in a building steeped in history, being an inn, boat house, bakery, traditional tea shop and one of the oldest restaurants in Hertfordshire. The new décor is the perfect stage for the new Modern International menu offering some of the highest quality fish around and a seasonal a la carte menu.
