This sourdough pizzeria at “buzzy” Altrincham Market (and now Manchester’s Mackie Mayor) is by well-earned repute “significantly better than anything else in the area”. It’s “still belting out some amazing food, but don’t get too pricey guys – remember, it’s a marketplace and we sit on hard benches”.
“Still great” – this darling of Altrincham market hall, also lining up at the Alti crew’s new Mackie Mayor market – remains the place for “really tasty sourdough pizzas with well thought-out toppings”; slight quibble: “did prices go up? Or did cheaper options come along?”
“In the busy and buzzing Altrincham market hall”, this funky outfit “stacks up very well against Manchester’s various pizza offerings, both old and new”, featuring “excellent quality” options with “sourdough bases, finished off in a wood-fired oven”. In September 2017, the same team behind Alti’s hit revamp helped relaunch Mackie Mayor market, in the Northern Quarter.
“Crowning glory” of the “wonderfully revitalised Alti market hall which has transformed Altrincham” – this “superb” outpost of the acclaimed local wood-fired pizza purveyors serves “brilliant” sourdough pizza (“excellent bases and imaginative toppings”) for an “unbeatable price”. Stop press – Manchester’s Mackie Mayor market is to receive the same kind of treatment, and Honest Crust will feature there too.
