Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Club – London’s most impressive-looking Indian fine dining destination – and Peter Gordon’s “innovative” Providores and Tapa Room in Marylebone will jointly celebrate their 15th birthdays.
On Tuesday 21 June, the pair will collaborate to create a unique menu for a one night only, private dining experience at The Cinnamon Club.
The six course anniversary feast (£120 pp) includes a cocktail on arrival and matching wines. Later in the year, Vivek will join Peter in The Providores and Tapa Room kitchen for the second and final anniversary dinner on Tuesday 18 October.
On the menu: Tandoori breast of Anjou squab pigeon with pumpkin chutney and carpaccio of home-cured Shetland salmon with caramel jhal muri (savoury puffed rice). Peter’s celebratory dishes will include grilled scallops with sweet chilli sauce, crème fraiche and grilled lamb neck with smoked mash and aubergine tamarind relish.
This exciting collaboration will only happen once at each restaurant, to book your place visit: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/15-years-chef-vivek-singh-chef-peter-gordon-tickets-2461786369
Guests are asked to arrive at 6.30 pm for pre-dinner drinks, seats for dinner at 7.15 pm.
Cinnamon Club, set inside the Old Westminster Library, underwent a £1 million refurbishment late last year, and according to our reporters now looks “even more dashing”.
