Summary
“Super-fresh, super-tasty Japanese food” – including “some of the highest-quality sushi you can find outside London” – can be found at this little BYO, but “don’t expect too much from the room, it’s really basic with no music and sometimes no heating, but the staff are exceptionally sweet”. Having clocked up more than 10 years, it now has two spin-offs, Kiko sushi & yakitori and Momo Bubble tea shop.

It’s easy to miss this unassuming BYO Japanese, but step into the diminutive, sparsely furnished joint and you’ll find some of the very “best sushi in Kent”, with a notably creative spin; the wide-ranging menu also takes in superlative bao buns, ramen and a very affordable set lunch.
