Harden's survey result
Summary
This cavernous venue from the regional Elite Pubs group wins consistently solid ratings for its well-executed gastropub menu. Tudeley village’s main attraction is All Saints’ Church, where all 12 windows were designed by the artist Marc Chagall to commemorate local girl Sarah D’Avigdor-Goldsmid, who drowned in a sailing accident in 1963.
For 34 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

The Poacher Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Cavernous busy place Incredibly busy noisy place. Ordered our main and had to wait a while for its delivery. Roast lamb was ok, but the slices were far too thin. Potatoes were very hard on the outside. Brocoli tastless and red cabbage needed more flavour. Name "elite" doesn't quite match this crowded venue with tables very close together for maximum covers. Food ok but not "elite" either, pleasant enough experience with friendly but very busy staff. Toilets clean if a bit utilitarian."
