Harden's survey result
“Back on form and deservedly popular” – this well-known, “comfortable” gastropub on the ‘Yellow Hills’ achieved more consistent ratings this year for it’s “mixture of pub classics, sharing boards and seasonal specials”. As our survey was concluding in May 2018, it was sold, along with its Ribble Valley Inn stablemates, to the Brunning & Price group.
“Good honest grub” and “service with a smile” have won a broad following for this well-known member of the Ribble Valley Inns chain, “well-located” on the ‘Yellow Hills’. Its ratings were dragged down this year however by a couple of disappointing reports.
“Another top-quality venue from Ribble Valley Inns” is the majority verdict on this “friendly and good value” pub, which has “a great location on the ‘Yellow Hills’”.
“An updated, good old-fashioned pub” (recently refurbished) that’s a very solid member of the Ribble Valley Inns chain, providing “above-average pub food” and “a friendly welcome”.
