The “mind-blowing selection” of “unusual” burger combinations is the trump card of this Lace Market outfit, with “something to please everyone including vegan, gluten-free etc”; add in a “lively” vibe and reporters “love this place”; following a Derby spin-off, they branched out to Worcester in late 2018.
This Lace Market venue “does what it does very well” – namely “exceptional” burgers, with a “great, great choice” of options taking in veggie and vegan versions and (as of late) new Micky D’s-style takeaway breakfast muffins; a second branch opened in a Grade II-listed church in Derby in Autumn 2018.
“Great quirky burgers and an excellent selection of beers in a funky environment” still win numerous big thumbs-up for this “shabby chic burger bar for grown ups”. Its ratings slipped this year though – some reviewers “don’t get the hype” and one former fan returned to a “disappointing” experience.
For an “amazing array” of “fabulous burgers”, look no further than this “busy” spot; the “only trouble is trying to get a table… it is just much too popular”; now serving breakfast too.
