“What a find!” – a relaxed cottage-bound establishment offering “excellent food at very reasonable prices” (“no wonder it’s so busy!”) – as you’d expect the focus is strongly on fish.
This “reliably good” bistro occupies a “whitewashed cottage near Mousehole harbour”, with “simple, modern decor”; “you can’t go wrong for seafood” in particular (“an exemplary staple like crab sandwich is elevated above the ordinary by excellent bread and well-judged seasoning”).
“An excellent bistro-style restaurant, in this small fishing village”, set in a street a little way from the harbour. Fish and seafood is the highlight “as it ought to be” – “wonderful, fresh and expertly cooked”.
With a vibrant, continental feel, 2 Fore Street is a relaxed and stylish bistro-style restaurant on Mousehole harbour front with views across Mount's Bay as well as a beautiful secluded garden to enjoy long summer days. 2 Fore Street Restaurant Restaurant Diner Reviews
"Lovely setting (in summer at least) and excellent food - the crab & parmesan souffle was so lovely & the kids loved the moules or steak options (as well as the usual pasta & nuggets choices). The chillie prawns were also amazing. Service can be a little young & inattentive."
