“A gem right next to the ENO”, this two-year-old Italian cicchetti (small plates) venue from the San Carlo group is “a great addition to the theatre district”. Most reporters are very happy with the food – “been twice, and both visits produced at least one truly memorable dish”.

For 31 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. In a typical year, diners submit over 50,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK. Each year, the guide is re-written from scratch based on this survey (although for the 2021 edition, reviews are little changed from 2020 as no survey could run for that year).

"Great spot to collapse in after the jubilee celebrations. Nice mix of dishes - vary in size. Probably don't need to order as many they suggest - depends on how hungry people feel. Good and attentive service."

"Setting is beautiful but too echoey / loud - to the point where the waiter didn't hear all our order. Food was beautifully executed & we definitely like Italian "tapas" portions so we could try more things. The Zucchini Fritti has converted my teen to courgettes."

"Part of a very Italian chain - all the attentive staff seem to be Italian which lends to the feeling of being there. It is quite cramped (not good for crowd phobics) and noisy. Or it has a buzz even for a sort of touristy place. Food is more than competent for a large high turnover place. "

"Useful pretheatre cicchetti . Expensive considering how small the portions are eg 2 scallops for £12. "
