Victor Garvey’s Covent Garden two-year-old serves “innovative and most importantly delicious modern Spanish food” (“sometimes overly fussy, but the flavours are strong”). It’s “fun” (if “noisy”) too, and “warmly welcoming”, but “ridiculously small – they put four people on a table which seemed just OK for two!”.
“Love, love, love” the “amazing and inventive tapas”, say fans of Victor Garvey’s inspiring, early-2016, solo venture in Covent Garden. “Amateur service” and a “cramped” space are drawbacks though, and not everyone is wowed: “I was hoping for the same quality as his original hangout, Tapas Bravas” but “the food looked better than it tasted (even though it looked fantastic…)”
