For 25 years we've been curating reviews of the UK's most notable restaurant. This year diners have submitted over 60,000 reviews to create the most authoritative restaurant guide in the UK.

Summary

Limited feedback on this heart-of-Theatreland outpost of the relatively upmarket US Mexican chain. For fans, “the guacamole made at the table is fab” and emblematic of the “good fun and food”, but doubters “don’t understand the crowds, given bland dishes and (perhaps understandably) under-pressure service”.

Summary

“Upmarket” Mexican operation in Covent Garden, with “very fresh-tasting” dishes (guacamole a speciality); reporters do gripe however that it’s “pricey”.

Summary

“It’s great how they make the guacamole at the table” – that’s just part of the array of “fresh”, “clean-flavoured” Mexican food at this “polished” and “buzzy” Covent Garden operation.

Summary

“I’m from Arizona, so I know an authentic Mexican!”; this grand-US-diner-style Covent Garden spot attracts consistent praise for “fresh-tasting” food that’s “a cut above”, and in “generous portions” too.

"The food is very fresh, especially enjoyed guacamole prepared at table. Also enjoyed perfect grilled sea bass. But pricey, even for the area, especially as they charge a lot for extras which in other places would be included in the price of a plate."

"Great food and service! Table side guacamole is a MUST. They also have a great lunch deal on the weekends with free flowing margaritas or prosecco for brunch."

"Food decent tho not ground-breaking and tending to dry; service enthusiastic and kind. Ambiance - shopping centre meets hotel foyer?"

"Satisfactory without being inspiring. Guacamole is freshly prepped at the table which is a nice touch. Good standby in a busy part of London, but not cheap."
