Owner's description

Luce e Limoni is the symbolic return of owner Fabrizio Zafarana to his home, Sicily. It is the materialisation of a concept woven with beauty, local Sicilian cuisine and good taste. In a way, it is the repossession of Fabrizio’s roots.

“ The menu embraces our native approach to food — take the best ingredients, allow that quality to shine through and present them with as little fuss as possible.”

Our food is the story of a long trip which changes over time but with one common point: the tradition. In Sicily, trade brought hundreds of years of foreign influence, which we try to bring in our restaurant by offering revisited traditional dishes giving fresh sensations to our customers.

"Glory be, a real neighbourhood restaurant in of all places Greys' Inn Road. Proper cooking, by proud Sicilians (the chef hovered to over hear our comments on the menu and answer any questions. Family style service, very friendly and attentive. And Italian food cooked with love - try the sea urchin ravioli when they have it."

"Great Sicilian food in a scruffy bit of Gray's Inn Road. Ignore the area - it's worth a detour. Good cooking at reasonable prices"
